LiquiCount LC1 is the smart, hassle-free solution for accurately tracking liquid usage across a wide range of applications.
From aviation de-icing to swimming pool filling, irrigation, and industrial processes, LC1 integrates with pumps and flow meters to measure exactly how much liquid is dispensed.
Engineered for ease of use, LiquiCount LC1 requires a simple one-time calibration—after that, it’s effortless. Once installed and powered, it automatically detects liquid flow and instantly displays real-time volume data on its clear LCD screen. No complicated setup, no unnecessary adjustments—just accurate, reliable readings across any environment.
Precision you can count on—whatever the application.
The LiquiCount LC1 is a dual-channel pulse counter designed for flexible integration into a wide range of liquid handling systems. The LC1 has been engineered to install easily, configure quickly, and deliver intuitive operation across multiple industries.
The LC1 accepts pulse inputs from proximity switches, turbine meters, or digitiser outputs on pumps and flow systems. All inputs and outputs are electrically isolated from the onboard controller for safety and reliability. These pulses are converted into measurable units, which can be displayed in either litres (L) or gallons (G). Each channel’s K-factor is fully adjustable, allowing calibration to match the specific characteristics of your sensors.
A bright, backlit LCD shows the total liquid volume measured during the current job or session. Values can be reset at any time to start a new measurement cycle. In many applications, the LC1 also provides scaled digital outputs—grounding pulses that correspond to defined fluid units—making it compatible with external systems such as printers, loggers, or PLCs.
Advanced configuration is accessed via a secure, engineer-only menu, protected by a keycode. Within this menu, K-factors can be tuned and digital outputs tested by triggering sample pulses without dispensing fluid—ideal for setup and verification.
The LC1 supports both litres and gallons, operates on standard 24V systems (with a 12V version available), and connects directly to modern three-wire PNP proximity switches without requiring external resistor networks.
Whether in aviation, water management, agriculture, or industrial fluid transfer, the LiquiCount LC1 delivers precision, flexibility, and reliability you can count on.
Housing: Rugged industrial enclosure (specifications upon request)
Fits into existing mounting hole
Outputs: Two open-collector grounding pulse outputs (1 pulse/unit)
The Liquicount LC1 is a dual-channel fluid counter specifically designed as a direct replacement for the now-obsolete units used in FMC/JBT de-icing systems. It is engineered to fit seamlessly into the existing panel cutout, requiring only four small additional holes for secure mounting.
The LC1 receives pulse inputs from proximity switches connected to the de-ice and anti-ice pumps, or from digitizers used on proportional mix or Blend-Up trucks. These pulses are converted into fluid usage units, measured in either Liters or Gallons. Each channel features an adjustable K-factor, allowing for highly accurate fluid measurement and calibration.
A backlit liquid crystal display (LCD) provides a clear readout of the fluid dispensed during the current operation. The display can be reset at any time to begin a new job. In many installations, the on-screen fluid totals serve primarily as a visual reference, as the unit is often used to generate scaled digital outputs for connection to a printer system.
The LC1 outputs a digital signal (grounding pulse) corresponding to one pulse per unit of fluid delivered. This output is fully compatible with existing FMC/JBT printer systems.
An engineer-accessible password-protected menu allows for advanced configuration, including adjustment of the K-factors. The system also includes a built-in output test mode, enabling verification of printer operation by sending 10 simulated pulses on each channel (de-ice and anti-ice) without dispensing fluid.
Users can easily switch between Gallons and Liters as the unit of measurement. The LC1 operates on standard 24V systems, with a 12V version available upon request.
The device supports 3-wire PNP proximity switches—standard in current de-icing systems—without the need for external resistor networks. In retrofit applications, existing resistor networks can remain in place, as the LC1 is designed to function with the existing signal wiring without modification.
Where required, output signals can be connected to legacy printer systems for data recording and hard-copy output.
We’re excited to share the progress of LiquiCount, our innovative new product designed to redefine liquid measurement and monitoring. After several months of intensive development, electronics testing, and software engineering, we now have a fully functional prototype in hand.
As we move through Q2 of 2025, we’re gearing up for the next major milestone: the construction of our first full-production unit. This marks a pivotal step as we prepare for comprehensive compliance testing, including EMC, IP, and RF certification—critical benchmarks that will ensure LiquiCount meets the highest standards for performance, durability, and regulatory approval.
Stay tuned—LiquiCount is getting closer to launch, and we can’t wait to show you what’s next.
